Europe Visitor Visa, commonly known as the Schengen Visa, allows individuals to travel within 27 countries that are part of the Schengen Area for tourism, business, family visits, or short-term study. The visa allows you to travel across multiple European countries with a single visa.

What is the Schengen Visa?

A Schengen Visa is a short-term visa that allows travellers to stay in the Schengen Area for up to 90 days within a 180-day period for tourism, business, visiting family/friends, or attending conferences.

The Schengen Area consists of the following 27 European countries:

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Croatia

Determine Which Embassy/Consulate to Apply To

You need to apply for a Schengen Visa at the embassy or consulate of the country where you plan to spend most of your time during your trip. If you plan to visit multiple countries, apply to the embassy of the country where you will spend the most nights or where your primary purpose of travel is.
